Duchenne-Konferenz 2025
On September 26, the fourth Duchenne Conference will take place at the Hotel Sempachersee in Nottwil.
Between 2016 and 2020, our partner Progena organized and hosted the Duchenne Conference, establishing it as one of the most important events in this field. The first German-language Duchenne Conference took place in September 2016 at the Hotel Hermitage in Lucerne and attracted 100 participants. The second conference followed in September 2018 at the Hotel Sempachersee in Nottwil and was fully booked with 130 participants. At the third conference in September 2020, also held in Nottwil, the number of participants had risen to 150, once again reaching full capacity.
The success of these conferences highlights the growing interest in complex topics related to DMD. The event has become the most important gathering in Switzerland for families, neuropediatricians, caregivers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other professionals working with DMD.
The 4th Duchenne Conference is organized by Duchenne Switzerland in collaboration with the University of Lucerne and the Swiss Muscle Society. For the first time, it will be held in three languages, with expert presentations translated into German, French, and Italian.
Friday:
- Current studies and therapies (G. Stettner, KISPI)
- Physical health (D. Jacquier, CHUV)
- Resilience: How to cope with DMD? (L. Romanino, KISPI)
